So i'm back to it. Here it is, August 9th. It's from God Grant Meets. um The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem. Theodore Rubin. I didn't have time to look them up. So you're going to have to do it. All right. As long as we live and breathe, we'll have problems. They are simply a part of life. We need to get used to that fact and stop getting upset about every problem that comes along. We can use the same process to solve our problems as we used to stay sober.

First we take a good look at the issue and decide how big it really is. Then we decide whether it is something we can handle by ourselves. If we need help, we get it. Then we think through all of the parts of the problem and decide how to fix it. We can talk it over with someone else for feedback.

Next, we take action. Sometimes fixing a problem takes time and we have to have patience. Sometimes it can't be fixed and we need to learn to live with it. Remember, having problems is just part of life and overall life is a lot better than it used to be.
